Safety tips
Most people here are your neighbors. A few are not who they say they are.
- Never send money, gift cards, or crypto to someone you met online.
- Be careful if someone asks to move to WhatsApp, Telegram, or email.
- Scammers often say they are overseas, in the military, or on an oil rig.
- Meet in a public place, like a restaurant at the town squares.
- Tell a friend where you are going and who you are meeting.
- If something feels wrong, tap Report. Our team reviews every report.
Warning signs of a romance scam
- They say "I love you" very quickly.
- They cannot meet in person or video chat, and there is always an excuse.
- They have an emergency and need money, gift cards, or crypto.
- They want to talk on WhatsApp, Telegram, Google Chat, or email instead.
- They offer to teach you about an investment or trading app.
